Description

The APWA New York Chapter, Capital District Branch, co-hosts their luncheon meetings typically on the fourth Thursday of each month. Our meetings are co-hosted with an individual or company who provides a Public Works topic(s) presentation after all have had a delicious catered lunch and dessert. The meeting topics vary from products, equipment, processes, rules and regulations, new companies, or anything else that the Branch Luncheon Committee and co-host consider valuable to the Capital District Branch members. Our meetings also allow for networking between Branch members and guests.

Our Branch members are informed of upcoming meeting topics, co-host, and presenter; APWA National, State and Branch news and membership; the current meeting schedule and any registration forms for upcoming events at our regular meetings and through email correspondence.

In addition, our Branch hosts an Annual Golf Outing in which all proceeds are for the APWA, New York Chapter, and Capital District Branch Scholarship fund. This year the Annual Golf Outing is planned to be on June 10, 2024.  Keep your eyes open for more details as we finalize the plans.  If you plan on being in the Capital District area at this time of the year, please make your reservations to join us and have a great day golfing and networking with fellow APWA members.  We look forward to enjoying a great day of golf and an outing.

Finally, the Capital Branch celebrates Individual and Project of the Year awards at our annual awards banquet where Project Sponsors, Contractors and the Design Team are recognized.
